Die letzten paar Filme von Hayao Miyazaki empfand ich als überladen, mitunter (zumindest im Kino) leicht kopfschmerzerregend. Nicht, dass ich sie schlecht fände. Nur das überbordende an ihnen war nicht so recht meins, im Gegensatz zur wunderbaren Simplizität etwa von My Neighbor Totoro oder Kikis Lieferservice. Von daher lassen diese Notizen von Mark Schilling hoffen.
